Building voices

Establishing project parameters through concept creation, draft planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration sessions where  students engage in guided narrative exploration, creating the comprehensive framework that will inform all subsequent project deliverables.

Recruiting specialized team members from UCI Sociology students while implementing multi-channel data collection infrastructure with robust confidentiality protocols, including anonymous digital submissions, encrypted voicemail systems, and physically secured story repositories, with official project launch on April 17, 2025.

Cultivating public relations networks and institutional partnerships while executing narrative-to-script conversion through artistic collaboration, supplemented by conferences, workshops, and public talks that build project visibility and stakeholder engagement throughout the development period.     

 THE UAN-1 VOICELESS ART CONTEST

On the 28th of December we will announce the winner of our Voiceless Art Contest: "How do you paint the silence?"

Our Impartial Jurors will deliverate from the 1st to the 27th of December and announce the winners on the 28th Dec 2025. The winner art will become an image for the Voiceless Project. All submitted entries will be showcased in exhibitions accompanying the theater play.  

Phase 4: Theatrical Presentation & Documentary Production 

Orchestrating professional staged reading at UCI on December 10, 2025, followed by the Art Contest Prize announcement on December 28, 2025, while simultaneously finalizing documentary production with footage collected throughout previous phases to create a permanent visual record of the project's development.

Phase 5: Sustainable Impact & Legacy Cultivation

Establishing enduring project infrastructure through final play development culminating in premiere performance in March 2027, followed by touring productions across UC campuses, while maintaining digital archives for ongoing research and sustaining the network of trained ethical storytelling practitioners.
